The 2432T measures all types of thermocouples with high accuracy and speed, and outputs data through Chell’s wide range of communication interfaces (including Modbus and iDDS). Thanks to these features, the 2432T can be used as an ideal complementary product to our comprehensive range of pressure scanners or as a standalone, robust temperature measurement device.

The 2432T is specifically designed for gas turbine and jet engine testing and development, where temperature measurement is required in addition to pressure measurement.

The 2432T allows users to collect and compare temperature data using various thermocouple types. At the same time, it helps standardize test facilities by using the same communication protocols, electrical interfaces, features, and accessories as pressure data acquisition systems—while also benefiting from the exceptional performance Chell is known for.

Accurately measuring 32 thermocouple inputs and corresponding cold junction temperatures (using a high-integrity copper UTR), the 2432T outputs 32-bit engineering unit data through configurable communication protocols, including Chell’s native protocol (TCP/IP or UDP), IENA, iDDS, or Netscanner® emulation mode.

The advanced real-time open-circuit detection system not only identifies shorts or breaks in thermocouples but also provides users with thermocouple impedance measurements—an extremely useful feature in the complex test environments we operate in.

As a standard feature in Chell Instruments products, the 2432T offers Power over Ethernet (PoE) or conventional DC power supply, which is automatically detected by the device.

All these features are integrated into a rugged design that can be used across a wide temperature range and in high-vibration environments—tested to DO-160G standards like all other Chell scanner products.
